    The UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is a new requirement for visitors who do not need a visa for short stays of up to six months. It is a digital permission to travel, designed to streamline border security and enhance the UK’s immigration system.
  • Who Needs an ETA?
    Visitors to the UK who do not require a visa for short stays must apply for an ETA before traveling. British and Irish citizens, as well as individuals with UK immigration status, do not need an ETA.
  • What Can You Do with an ETA?
    An ETA allows you to: Visit the UK for tourism, business, or short-term study for up to six months. Transit through the UK if passing through border control. Enter the UK for permitted paid engagements or events.
  • How to Apply
    Applying for an ETA is quick and simple. The application requires: A valid passport Contact details A digital photo A fee dependent on your selected service The decision is dependent on the service you have selected but may be delayed if you have suppised incorrect information or further security checks are required. It is advised to allow up to three working days for processing. Important Notes An ETA does not guarantee entry into the UK; travelers must still meet entry requirements at the border. You must travel using the same passport used for your ETA application. The ETA is valid for multiple journeys over two years or until your passport expires.
